We are all the same in Christ Jesus
For years many Christians have made a claim,
That is - all of God’s people are the same.
It does not matter what sex you may be,
Nor if you’re a Jew, Greek, bond or free.
Paul told the Galatians in writing so plain,
For in Christ Jesus we are all the same.
So an elder can be the wife of one husband,
Not just a husband of one wife as planned.
For years churches have claimed an entitlement,
Ordain women elders and ministers without lament.
Now another group is claiming this same right,
And seems to have given many a terrible fright.
For now people of the same sex wish to marry,
They want to have a legal certificate to carry.
With their simple request what is the problem?
For all are the same, this is now common.
For Christians, God performed the first marriage,
In the garden of Eden Adam and Eve did pledge.
So Biblically marriage is between a man and woman!
Also an elder or bishop is to be a man not a woman.
The problem came about because of lies and fabrication,
And promoted by many who wanted more authorisation.
Now they face the horrible result of changing God’s Word,
To suit their own gratification and purpose, which is absurd.
