While contemplating this concept, a Scripture popped into my mind. It was Revelation 21:1, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
How strange that such a naturally wondrous place that so many humans love to visit, will not be part of the new earth. Maybe, there were no seas when God created this earth. Who knows?
It made me wonder what else may not be on this earth when God renews it? Yes, it will be like the garden of Eden again but what was that really like? What marvels and wonders to you think will be there?
After feeling a little disappointed for a while, I consoled myself with the thought that the new earth will be so wondrously magnificent compared to this dreary, dark, old world, that I am sure we will find many, many places that will thrill our souls with delight so much that we probably won’t miss what we now call beaches.
Until next time – remember, safety first!
